- What is Formist?
- Formist is an AI assistant for sustainability and regulatory compliance work: carbon accounting, product and process footprints, and filings such as CBAM, CSRD/ESRS and the GHG Protocol. You give it your documents and your compliance records (companies, products, processes, installations, shipments, fuels), and it drafts, summarises and proposes changes for a person to review.
- How do I sign in?
- There is no password. Sign in with your Microsoft work account, a Google account, a Lark or Feishu account, a passkey, or a six-digit code sent to your email address. You can register more than one method and use whichever is convenient.
- How do I get my documents into Formist?
- Upload files directly, or connect a Microsoft 365 account to synchronise files from SharePoint or OneDrive and mail or calendar from Outlook. Each uploaded or synced file is stored, and its text is extracted so the assistant can search and read it.
- How does the AI assistant work, and can I trust its output?
- The assistant reads what is in your space and drafts, summarises and proposes changes to your records. Every proposed change is just that, a proposal: a person reviews and approves or rejects it before it becomes part of your records. AI output can be wrong, so anything that matters for a filing should be checked by a person before you rely on it.
- What are Skills, and which ones does Formist include by default?
- A Skill is a reusable set of instructions the assistant can run, for example to fill a specific regulatory template. Formist starts every space with four default Skills: CBAM installation, CBAM declarant, CSRD/ESRS, and the GHG Protocol. You can add more from the Skill library.
- What connectors can I use?
- Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, OneDrive, Outlook), Lark or Feishu groups, Dropbox, and Fireflies.ai, plus open reference data sources such as OpenLCA and PACT. You can also connect your own account with an AI provider (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, DashScope, Moonshot, DeepSeek, or a custom endpoint) if you want a space to run on your own key instead of ours. Every connection is optional and is switched on by you.
- How much does Formist cost, and how do I manage billing?
- Formist is a monthly subscription, billed to a card through our payment processor, Stripe, plus metered additional usage billed by how much AI processing your space actually uses. There is no free trial. You can view your plan, manage your card, and cancel at any time from the billing settings inside the application.
- Where is my data stored, and how do I delete it?
- Formist runs in a single region today, on Microsoft Azure. We do not delete space content on a timer: it stays until someone removes it, or the space is deleted. Any member can export a space before deleting anything, and you can delete your own account from within the application. See the privacy policy for the full detail.
- How do I get support?
